Anthony Quartararo
Anthony John Quartararo III is a professional geographer with more than twenty-five years in the geospatial industry with experiences ranging from program and project management of multi-year international digital map production projects, business and competitive intelligence activities, human capital management, field data collection operations, data procurement and human geography data acquisition and visualization.
Most recently, Mr. Quartararo was President & CEO of Spatial Networks, Inc, the company he founded in 2000, until a majority interest in the company was acquired in 2019 by two private equity firms that will focus on growing the company’s flagship mobile data collection plaQorm, Fulcrum. Mr. Quartararo remains on the Board of Directors for Spatial Networks, and continues to actively promote and support the company as it continues to grow and expand its innovative business solutions. Prior to founding SNI, he worked for a number of private location intelligence companies, each of them leveraging some aspect of geospatial technology, data and management activities.
His business experience spans the globe, but his primary areas of expertise are in Central & South Asia, North Africa, Near East, Latin America and East Asia. Mr. Quartararo holds an undergraduate degree in Geography/GIS from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania and began working on a graduate degree in Geography/ GIS at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon before beginning his professional career.
Mr. Quartararo sits on the Council of the American Geographical Society in New York City, as well as a Board member and shareholder of Spatial Networks, Inc. He is also a founding small business member (plank holder) of the Global SOF Foundation, based on Tampa, FL, and is also a lifetime member of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), based in Herndon, VA. He’s also the Executive Chairman and primary investor in Global Research Associates, a boutique geospatial research firm, and Managing Director in Soliloquy Ventures, a small investment banking firm focused on women & minority owned businesses. He currently lives in the Tampa Bay region of Florida.
