Chris Bishko has over 25 years of experience across technology operations, venture investing and investment banking.  He brings first-hand experience building technology startups, having made early stage venture investments for nine years on behalf of Pierre Omidyar (founder of eBay) and having served as the first full-time CFO of two growth stage technology companies which were each sold for over $400M.

Chris brings deep experience with cloud-based enterprise SaaS and marketplace models, and has worked with companies addressing industry-specific data aggregation and normalization challenges that have similarities to those being addressed by Place.  Chris also has expertise in impact investing and building private and public sector collaboration models designed to accelerate technology-driven innovation benefitting the general public.

Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University where he majored in Biomedical Engineering and English Literature.
