Dr. Anthony Denniss is a geospatial Earth Observation expert with more than 25 years’ experience across both Government and Commercial organizations. Anthony’s academic background includes under and post graduate degrees in Cartography, Geology and Remote Sensing. Upon completing a geological remote sensing PhD, Anthony started his career as part of the British Geological Survey, working on a range of UK and International geological projects. After three years Anthony made the switch to the commercial sector where he has remained working for Airbus Defense and Space, across a variety of roles.

Most of Anthony’s Airbus Defense and Space career has been within the Earth Observation downstream services part of the business, where Anthony has had many technical roles, including the management of Research & Development associated with new Earth Observation products and services from a range of sensors including both optical and radar satellite as well as airborne sensors including photogrammetric and oblique cameras, lidar and thermal sensors. Today, Anthony is part of the ‘Digital Transformation Organization’ of Airbus Defense and Space, where Anthony works as part of a multi-national team focused on the development and implementation of advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing to a wide range of business applications and services.
